Hi Mrs Capling, Sorry about you loss off Dave, I only met him on a few occasions at the Guildford model Engineering Society. I have for a numerous years been trying to locate Dave as back in 1993 I purchased a Class33 loco from him, he hand made this in your garage, I'm sure you missed him for many a night. I used to live in Hampshire and have now relocated to Somerset, I recently joined the Yeovil Railway Centre. Our members bring in magazines for members to look through, I found a Model Engineers magazine from 1985 (Bring back the Eighties), in the mag there is two pages of a review of the GMES, Dave's Locos takes the credit. To cut along story short, I still have and will always have one of your Husbands great marvel Engineering Legacies. I do have photos at the Yeovil Railway Centre of the Precision Engineering products Dave was capable and inherent of.

I have just heard the very sad news concerning your Dad. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I remember your Dad riding in the Greeves trial that I ran in 2013 on his Francis Barnett, which at a quick glance looked fairly standard, but the more you looked, the more tweaks you could see.
